Decaffeinated Corpse by Cleo Coyle

                                                      Decaffeinated Corpse by Cleo Coyle

When an old friend of her ex-husband develops the world's first botanically decaffeinated coffee bean and smuggles it into the country, Clare Cosi, manager of Village Blend, believes it's a business opportunity she needs to investigate...at least until the first dead body shows up.
My Thoughts- An all time favorite book.

Is there any question that I would love a book series that is based around a coffee shop? Everyone knows of my coffee addiction. Add in a quirky female, sexy ex-husband, hot cop maybe boyfriend, a mystery, and an entire set of characters that are so loveable?

I found this series several years ago. I'm not sure what happened that I didn't finish it. Just one of those series I lost touch with when I went from buying print to my kindle. But I am so glad that found it again so I can finish the adventure.

The first three books in the series I bought as print books, book four as a kindle book, this book (which is book five) I purchased as an audio book for my kindle.

I loved this book! The favorite is the series!

It has it all. Adventure, mystery, sexy characters, and coffee!

In this book decaffeinated coffee is the new it thing. Of course to people in the business decaf is better know as why bother.

*Like me just add in here that about 3 months ago I started to add decaf to my own daily consumption. I drink cups and cups a day but after six at night I have switched to decaf. If you find a good blend it's pretty good.*

But back to the book... Clare finds herself thrown into a mystery... who mugged her ex-husband's best friend and why? Of course she can't just that little thing go. Even though Rick and Matt tell her to.

Clare sets out to investigate exactly what is going on.

Through meeting up with old friends, following a private investigator, having a man fall 26 stories off a balcony, and more Clare may just be over her head.

When her ex-husband is questioned for murder Clare knows she has to solve the case fast... before the cops arrest Matt.

Mike Quinn, the sexy and quiet, cop from the shop is back in this book. And things between Mike and Clare may just move in another direction... or we can hope anyway.

No wonder Clare has to drown herself in espresso shots. She's a very busy woman! Lol!

This was a great read and I will tell you while there is several plots going on there was one I did not figure out! And that was cool.

I really enjoyed having this book as an audio also. I could listen to it on my way to and from work, while I was tanning, and at home. I've already bought and can't wait for the next in line!
